Hey @jol, developer here. It’s not quite called out explicitly, the arrange inspector mentions being able to control depth of items:

(the layers panel is a shortcut, does the same thing as bring to front, send to back)
When Sparkle determines the the menu overlap area, it accounts for open submenus, so in that instance it will light up the “bring to front” option, signaling that there is overlap and the menu is behind.
So yeah it’s not explicitly called out, you need to read between the lines.
