It seems odd that Images opacity seems to work properly, but box’s with images only fade to black even though fill color is white (or any other color)… seems opacity should fade to the fill color, not black.
@405media, I might be reading this wrong?..
When I try what you mentioned (box with fill colour (orange in this case) and a placed image) and then giving it opacity I have the image showing through the orange until both fade to see-through.

Sounds good, I was able to just reproduce it… think some sorta bug with opacity and stretching
