When I Control click on the Sparkle logo on the Dock I get a list of projects.
One of the projects is listed as Sandvox And I want to get rid of it from the list.
How can I do this?
I have no Sandvox application. and I removed the Sandvox directory from the Library/Application Support directory.

I thinking this can be further fine-tuned but what I do is go (while the Sparkle app is open) to the top left and “File / Open Recents / Clear Menu”. This will clear all references to your latest 10 opened Sparkle files including reference to your Sandvox. As you open Sparkle files after that the Open Recents will continue to fill until you have opened 10 different Sparkle files.

Yes, what @FlaminFig suggested will take care of it. You can do similarly for all the apps, including Finder.
