Export to disk question

I’ve been using export to disk successfully, but I have one question: when I updated a few of the popups on the site, instead of uploading the whole site (32 MB), I tried just uploading the files that changed. When I did that, the popups didn’t change on the web version. Is the only alternative to upload the whole site each time?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn’t find it: On a quite large website I have an address list, which is the only page that would change from time to time. The other pages stay the same, new ones are added. What is the easiest/quickest way to just change a phone number or a street name? When I publish to disk all the files are updated to the current date even when nothing changed other than a phone number in the address list. Thanks!

The TL;DR is you can get away with transferring only changed files (by looking at their date), but it’s probably best to use Sparkle’s built-in publishing.
