Find and Replace failing

Trying the Find and replace feature with no luck on the Replace part …doesn’t allow me to enter text in the Replace text field at all.
Anyone else having this issue?

FYI: On MacOS 12 beta, on a new M-1 iMac.

I believe is a macOS beta problem, wait until the final comes out.
