How do I add a footer to each page?

I’m the newbie. Be kind. I just noticed there isn’t an “add footer” function. Or am I just overlooking it? Thanks for any guidence.

You can add any item, or group of items and have them display on every page, whether it’s a footer or anything else. For footers, specifically, you can have the item or group of items stick to the bottom of the browser window. The settings are shown below:

Hello @francbrowne. What version are/were you referencing with these screen shots? I am up to date (4.2 - 16700) but I don’t have “Fix to browser bottom” or “Follow footer”. As a result, I can’t get a “footer” to be automatically be placed across all pages.

Sorry we need to clarify that in the documentation, as discussed in other threads “footer” was an ambiguous term in the user interface. You have something that you consider a “footer” for the site, and you will set it to “move with page bottom” in Sparkle. They are related but distinct concepts. Also it’s around the “show on all pages” setting because that’s when it’s used most often.
