I want to direct from facebook to a certain part of my site

I write different articles and would like to post pics on facebook to that certain article on a webpage.
Is there a way to get a mid page link? Or for this I would have to make every article on a different webpage?

Hello @Raynel and welcome! :slightly_smiling_face:

I think what you are looking for are scroll locations, as described in the documentation:

https://sparkleapp.com/docs/how-to-set-up-scroll-locations-in-a-page.html

HI, @Shadowfax. I know of the scroll up location in a page. But can I can I direct someone on facebook direct to that location? Instead of the top of the page.

Hello @Raynel

Yes. I think you can. Usually it works with “anchors”.

You add the name of the scroll location to the link, after the symbol #

So it would look like this:

https://domain.com/pagename.html#scrolllocation

I haven’t used this in a long time, but I just tested it and it works. :slightly_smiling_face:

Ok, I’ll give this a try. Thanks

It’s a bit of a workaround to get that scroll location link. Right click on the scroll location link and copy it. If it isn’t a link on that page, create an empty box or white text, assign it as the location link and hide it on the page somewhere, to use that to get the link in Safari.
