Image overlay and/or pattern overlay

It would be great to have an image overlay feature, so we can darken images or add a half-opaque gradient over an image. Right now, I get around this by adding a second box on top of my image and reducing the opacity of that box.

@WebRoyal, The way I have been getting around it is placing a solid black box (but this can be any colour or gradient) under an image and then click the image and play with its opacity… very effective! :slight_smile:
