For standard links there is an option to open a new page.
Am i missing something or isn’t it possible for the “Link to Instagram Profile”?

Indeed, it is not possible with the “Link to Instagram profile” function. But you can proceed differently:
1 - Monochrome logo: In a text area, right-click and choose “Insert icon”. Search for “Insta”. You will have the choice between two logos that you can change the color of, and then integrate the link into the text field.
2 - Multicolor logo: Add the color logo (this one for example) as an image and integrate the link into the image.
Yes, I already use this workaround.
But I wonder why this is not possible with the built-in function…
