Is there some way to create groups of pages in the pages sidebar and hide or collapse the groups? I’d like to be able to view only one group of pages at a time so I don’t have to scroll through dozens of pages to get to the one I want to work on.
You could use Sections?..
But if you are talking a “tree-like-structure” then no.
You could also hide (untick) the default thumbnails by going View / Show Thumbnails. This will just have the names of your pages show instead of the visual thumbnail representation.
Thank you for the suggestions. I tried creating sections, but as far as I can tell all that does it put a heading above a group of pages. I think it has to do with automatic menu creation.
I wish it were possible to collapse and expand the sections, but it does not appear to be.
I may take your suggestion of unchecking “Show Thumbnails.” That should make it more manageable.
