Preserving an existing file structure from old website

I want to replace an existing website (made with Jimdo) by means of Sparkle.
In the old website I used a menu structure consisting of three levels. I understand this is not supported by Sparkle. This limitation is OK for me. But (due to many existing links) I would like to maintain the three levels in the file structure.

Simplified example of previous structure:

domain/index.html
domain/page_A.html
domain/page_B.html
domain/page_B/page_B1.html
domain/page_B/page_B2.html
domain/page_C.html

I can live with the fact, that there is no menu item “domain/page_B.html”, but for the two previous level-3-items I would like to preserve the file structure “domain/page_B/page_B1.html” and “domain/page_B/page_B2.html”.

Is there a way, to enforce that?

Many thanks!

Hi :wave:t2:

It is indeed possible to place pages in folders with Sparkle  You can find this option in the settings of each page. This way, you can recreate the current structure of your website without any issues.

You can find more information on this page: Page Setup | Sparkle Documentation

Hi Allan

Now that you explained to me, how to accomplish it, I’m a bit ashamed, that I haven’t found it out myself.

It really works exactly as I wanted, and it is really simple. Thanks a lot!

Haha, don’t worry, it’s not a problem!

Feel free to ask if you need any help, the community is here for that
