Is there a way to make a ragged edge box within the program or am I going to have to use a picture file? I’m wanting something that looks like brush strokes. It would be a solid box with text on top.
AND wouldn’t a picture file load more slowly?
Sorry, but there is no way of doing this in Sparkle with the current set of tools. It would have to be an image file.
I wouldn’t worry to much about it loading too slowly, I use very large image files in my web designs without issue.
You could always set the image to ‘load when visible’ etc.

There’s no way in Sparkle but there’s no way in web standards either. You do need an image.
Depending on what you need to do, perhaps an SVG vector image can be small enough to be worth the trouble of making it.

What program do I use to make an SVG Vector image? Pages doesn’t appear to do it nor can Preview that I can tell.
The sad part is that almost 2 years ago I had the need for one and I did it, but I can’t remember how.
Not really ragged edges, but definitely fun shapes and waves (scroll down). Exported as svg…
There must be more of that on the net…
