Sections - do they have to look like Regular Pages?

Is it possible with items that show on every page to have a section that doesn’t have those objects? Essentially like having more than one master page?

To show items on chosen pages only:

  1. create a new section
  2. add the pages into that section that you want the item displayed on
  3. Add the item to any page in that section
  4. Select the item, choose, Show items on all pages in this section, instead of selecting, Show item on all pages.

Answered my own question (can index page be in a section) and got it all figured out; mostly. Stuffs up the menu’s as they now say Section 1 and Section 2 rather than all the pages; so I’ll just do manual menus.
