Sparkle 2.8.11 not compatible with catalina 10.15.6

Hi I have 2.8.11 and Catalina 10.15.6 (19G73) version doesn’t let me even open it. Any ideas?
it says:

Sparkle cannot be opened because of a problem.
Check with the developer to make sure Sparkle works with this version of macOS.

I am using 2.8.12 on Catalina 10.15.6 with no problem.

Could you try re-install?

If you downloaded Sparkle from Sparkle’s website, check System Preferences on your Mac. Go to Security and Privacy and look at the selection “Allow apps downloaded from” to see which button is checked. Compare to how you downloaded. Always download and app from the App Store when given the option.

This sounds like your system needs some routine maintenance and a tune-up. Here’s how to do it (this will solve other OS-related issues you may be having):

Download and run all the maintenance routines in ONYX for Mac:
https://www.titanium-software.fr/en/onyx.html

Zap the PRAM on your system: During boot hold down the OPTION-COMMAND-P-R buttons simultaneously. Keep holding them down until your system makes the startup “bong” twice, then let go.

Try running Sparkle after you do these; if it’s still not working try a fresh install. The latest version absolutely works on Catalina, no problem.
