Is it possible to put a Youtube shorts video on a page? I had to make a vertical video 16:9, upload to youtube and then I could use it in Sparkle. Put in the link of the Youtube shorts video didn’t work. Anyone else experienced the same? Best regards, Hans
Sparkle doesn’t currently properly read shorts youtube URLs. You can copy/paste the video ID from the URL (the part after …shorts/) into the Sparkle video settings, and that will sometimes work. I’m not quite sure why it doesn’t always work, something to figure out on our end.
What always works is right clicking on a shorts video on the youtube site and selecting “Copy embed code” from the context menu, then pasting that in an embed element.
