Here’s a font oddity I haven’t seen discussed here before. I recently upgraded to Monterey from Catalina. When I opened one of my Sparkle projects it told me that Courier and Times were both missing. A little research unearthed the fact that Apple for some reason now hides these fonts, even though they are actually on the system. Pages can see Courier (although not Times), but most other apps can’t. I found Courier.ttc and Times.ttc in my System—>Library—>Fonts folder and installed them in Sparkle, but only one style of each font shows up in the font menu at a time (e.g. Regular but not bold or italic). I realize that this is an Apple problem but is there anything you can do about this?
