So I tried to set my mouse hover text color for our menu and it seems to have a glitch where it turns the entire background to that color and changes the base text color as well. See image for example. Am I missing something?

it is an easy one but confusing at first. If your background colour was white form the Main row in your Colour Well and you have used that same colour and turned it yellow for you navigation then whatever was white on your website will all turn yellow.

Color wells in Sparkle are synchronized across elements that use them. So if you change the color of a color well, all elements using it will also have the new color.
You can avoid this by using the “current” color, that is not synchronized.
