Really like the design and layout of your site. I also like the way it resizes to mobile - very nice!!
However, I have one tiny suggestion that could make a big difference to the overall look of your site. The images with text have been created as JPG’s which degrade the text (fuzzy). The same is true of your logo. Why not use one of the really nice features of Sparkle and create your bitmap images and have separate SVG overlay images for the text. It will make the whole page look much sharper. I uploaded an example for you HERE. Hope you don’t mind the suggestion but I’m just a bit of a perfectionist and I hate to see an excellent site being degraded by text quality issues.
That’s looking far better on mobile now @robbiedev so well done! Just one thing… Just check over your text boxes (are they showing all the text on the Sparkle canvas) and overlapping.
Yup! I totally forgot about SVG’s - good idea! but Im going to be selective about which ones to do since it is a massive undertaking to redo all of them - I did them a long time ago and rounding up the original .ai files will be an undertaking by itself:)

This is my first Sparkle website I did for my brother. I’ve always struggled on the design side of websites, but it was a joy to use sparkle. It’s like DTP for the WEB! Brilliant and thanks for all the work that must have gone into it over the years. Well done Duncan.
As this is my first time on the Forum, hope I’ve done it ok.
Cheers

Used Sparkle to quickly and easily rebuild our website to focus on COVID-19 research… Thank you! Now lots of 'backfilling from old site’s content to go.
So finally got my own website up and running after 40 years in the business. You might ask why I bothered… because it’s actually a lot of fun to use Sparkle. Hope you all like it. Based on existing template. scoutdesign.org.uk
In Sparkle, I listed a subpage to the 2003 Expeditions to the Forest page. In order not to differ graphically from the old page, I left the background, colors and font. I added some CSS manually in Sprakle. (If you can add CSS effects directly in Sparkle, this will be the best website creation program in the universe.
Back to the web, after a change of web hosting provider and some health concerns: https://cyrilsanches.com/
During this period of welcomed stand back, I made a few modifications, mainly the content of the texts. My website has a “old school” style, but I find it fits very well with my activity.
Hope you will enjoy it.
I think its a nice site - not too retro and nice colours - easy to read. However, you have a couple of issues that you should address. The first is a cut-off issue in your footer:
