Hallo Achim, kleiner Tip; Du solltest die weiße Schrift (auch das Logo) vielleicht mit einem leichten Untergrund oder dunklerer Unschärfe hinterlegen. Wie Du im screenshot sehen kannst. Ist es äusserst schlecht zu sehen.

But because it’s a video in the background, the time it takes for the logo and the writing to be right over that spot is quite short.

I’ve been working with Sparkle for a while, so I used a template to create the page, which I modified as needed. I was learning the basics and everything was new to me. Thanks to Duncan and his patience, this is my second site. I am now working on a brand new one- music, but it is still very much in its raw state. Hopefully I’ll finish it

I know this is an old post but if you are still on here I wanted to ask if you used a Sparkle template as a starting point for your site?
It looks lovely and very much along the lines of a layout we would like.

It’s not about any of the latest post here but I can confirm my latest project: https://holzbau-atelier.com
It’s not a template at all.
Let me add, that the main purpose was to get employees and trainees and get new assignments which has been very fine for trainees (3) and assignments (many).
So the websites challenge was to be mobile but also big screens visible – me I really do not like doing that mobile stuff but … nothing to discuss, it is necessary, of course.
Galleries on mobile mostly lack in its appearance, here the thumbs are larger than the light-box image, so you see, why I do not like it that much.

I’m extremely happy with Sparkle a have designed a few website now:

I recommend to think about the black script on a dark background (if you were asking for it …?)
And just guessing that there should be a map in your footer–there is no map but a pin “Chicago”.
On big screens like 27" monitors, the background of the header image gets white with your scroll motion effect, watching it on smaller devices, this seems to be kind of unexpected.
Nice and modern design, though.
