Mention your Sparkle website!

So well, that’s ok for me. I am also satisfied with sparkle.

A true beginner here! Happy to have found Sparkle after going through many days and hours learning (non-intuitive) Wordpress (where you have to download 50 different add-ons in order to make a decent website). My sites are still extremely simple compared to all of you’s, but any learning process takes time, especially for someone like me who practically knows nothing about website design - and friends who don’t realize how much time and knowledge it takes and are in a hurry to see something done
Here (both unfinished!): https://www.larozinante.fr and https://www.goingover75.com
Thanks Duncan, for all the support!!! I’m pretty sure I’ll have to ask for more…

The first project I ever did with Sparkle https://ehad.co.zm and also this coming soon page https://iworx.co.zm

o-t-g.com a personal website of memories and current projects.
Revised frequently rather than “added to”.

I was working with the very talented Chris Yates on my website all about Pan Flutes. Lotta work went into this. Unfortunately, Chris passed away suddenly last year what a talent lost. Here’s the website if anyone has any comments, would love to hear them.

I’m pretty new around here and just started using Sparkle. I’m a photographer from Québec, Canada. I’m still struggling a big with the mobile version and the website is far from done, but here it is :

Hi all —

Just wanted to share my new website. I’m an experienced graphic and branding designer and this my online portfolio, all built with Sparkle. So far, I’ve only added the Portrait Smartphone to the Desktop and scaled the others but aim maybe to add just a tablet as it’s a very simple, stripped-back site just aiming to showcase my work to potential employers:

Thanks all!

VeryVeryNice.
All of it, website and overall work. Like it.

In the UK you don’t need something like “imprint” ?
Your HERE button is quite hidden well, so one has to be very ambitious to contact you, I assume.

Very Kind Regards,
Uwe

A great job @Gordie!
Clean and minimalistic… your website (and curated images) screams professional.

But could I make a few suggestions…

  • I would suggest to finish off your web pages with a footer (with a summary blurb) to improve your SEO
  • Have your active linked text a different colour (or underlined) for the User to know it is clickable
  • Have a back button on your project pages going back to the Work page

Thanks Uwe! Yes it is very subtle, I should make more of it definitely.

Thanks @FlaminFig – I’ll look into these suggestions :grinning:

Still very new to web design and UI, but here is my company’s website. Thanks to the Sparkle team for an easy-to-use website builder!

Just finished my nice new website , a bit more to add but for the meantime that will do , any comments , suggestions are welcome ! https://www.niphotos.uk

Colourful and well done!
Just a suggestion with your pages… It is never a good idea to have your web pages open in a new tab. That is more reserved for outbound links so people don’t totally leave your website.

Great job!
Just check your main navigation and bring it to the front. At the moment your content is going over the top of the main navigation bar.

How’s things going in Suid Afrika?

Just check on your Blog navigation dropdown…
When I’m on the pages, The Carbon Almanac & Sunday Still Live I’m unable to get the Blog navigation dropdown to open?

Forgot to mention… Have you ever come across Disqus - https://disqus.com
It seemly integrates into Sparkle well.
